We went to East Texas to celebrate Mom's birthday and to give Eryn some revenge from the water balloon fight she had with Uncle Todd on the last trip.

Looking away may not help your aim, but it keeps the water out of your eyes!

Solution: swimming pool goggles... Watch out Uncle Todd!!

Rewind

Cake Balls

I'm no Bakerella, but who can compete with her?! Click HERE to see her Red Velvet Cake Balls. She is amazingly talented!

Using the white almond bark with red velvet will definately test your patience...keeping the little red particles out of the white icing is a challenge, but that's what a practice round is for! I ended up putting the cake ball on a fork and holding it with my left hand, while spooning the melted bark over it with my right hand - that seemed to work best. We also loved the spice cake dipped in the milk chocolate bark.

Happy 4th of July!

9 Months

This is where you can find Paige on a regular basis: at her toy bucket and stroller for her baby. She weighs 16 pounds now and is very busy...way too busy to look at a camera! She would very much like to help out with the chips and queso, but has not one single tooth in her head...we are still waiting! We keep blaming her sleeping habits on the teeth, but I've been singing the same tune for 6 months now. Eventually we will have teeth AND sleep through the night!

 

Eryn Turns Six

Eryn is very glad to be six. Watching fall and spring birthdays pass you by during the school year is hard! She had a painting party at a ceramics studio and had a blast with her friends. She's already tossing around ideas for her 7th birthday party!
