Gardening Boots

We love our rain boots...errr, gardening boots, I was corrected; perfect for working in the red dirt at Nina and Poppy's farm.

Get Down!

We had an unusually warm day on the 23rd...then it snowed the 24th, only in Texas!
Eryn was riding her bike outside. Paige kept walking into the bike path, bouncing and giving her "I want that" whine/grunt, so I went inside and got her little horse so that she would have something to ride too. She gets in trouble on a daily basis for turning around in her chair so that she can hold onto the back and stand up in it. Why would she want to sit on the horse? It's much more fun to stand!

The Look

When you don't get your way it helps to look away and suck your bottom lip in...

...see, works like a charm!

9 Months

This is where you can find Paige on a regular basis: at her toy bucket and stroller for her baby. She weighs 16 pounds now and is very busy...way too busy to look at a camera! She would very much like to help out with the chips and queso, but has not one single tooth in her head...we are still waiting! We keep blaming her sleeping habits on the teeth, but I've been singing the same tune for 6 months now. Eventually we will have teeth AND sleep through the night!

Who, Me?

Two of Steven's favorite things: John Deere tractors and fire engines. He's pretty fond of his little John Deere F.D. pedal car.
I know he would rather it remain dent and scratch free...as I'm sure it will! Ha! Paige inherited a Little Tykes xylophone from Eryn, and she uses the yellow plastic hammer to make even better music on the car. Sorry Daddy.

Too Busy

I'm afraid the days of Paige sitting still for a picture are long gone. There is just too much to do! Eryn of course will pose at any given moment, and can't quite understand why Paige would not want to do the same.

Paige, you are just too little to be pulling yourself up on furniture.

Here's why...caught mid-fall!

Happy Memorial Day! This is the first year we have had to return to school after what has always been the start of summer, these last 7 days will be rough.

We Have A Crawler

Paige started the rocking on hands and knees business about two weeks ago, and now there's no turning back. Let the baby-proofing begin!

Racin' In The Rain

We did the Komen Run today, and thankfully the downpour waited until the end. A little sprinkle never hurt anyone...there were still 6,000+ walkers/runners!

Waiting for daddy to run across the suspension bridge.

Ah, here he comes!

Four Months

1-28-09
Paige's little world has completely changed in the last month! I am back at work, and she is now settled in at school. She has 3 friends in her baby class and is well taken care of by a sweet lady from our church. Steven gets to pick her up early on his 2 days off, and let her sleep in at home 1-2 days a week. She is doing very well, and we couldn't be more pleased with her daycare (which is extremely close to our house).

Do you think they make Rogaine for babies? Such a mean picture I know, but I just couldn't help it! She does not cry at night when she wakes up to eat; She turns her head from side to side until we hear her, and has rubbed all of those cute red curls plum off! I can't wait until it gets longer so that we can tell if her curls will stay. Maybe we will have the next "Annie" star on Broadway!
