Dance Recital 2012
The girls had their dance recital this past weekend. Paige was finally old enough to take dance this year, and although she didn't always follow directions during her Thursday night class, she did very well on stage Saturday. She performed ballet and tap, and Eryn performed ballet, tap, jazz and hip hop. Eryn was in both shows again on Sunday and when Paige found out her turn had come and gone she cried and was extremely upset that she was not getting to dance on stage again. The preschool classes always perform in only one show...as much fun as it is, I was thankful for that!

Gardening Boots
We love our rain boots...errr, gardening boots, I was corrected; perfect for working in the red dirt at Nina and Poppy's farm.

First Sign of Garden Tomatoes
Our very first baby green tomatoes made their showing. We're growing three kinds in our vegetable garden, and this is one of our four plants from the "Homestead" variety. We purchased them as seedlings during spring break; they were grown from seed in one of the greenhouses at the VA in Waco.

Dance Recital 2010

Eryn performed very well on both tap and ballet this year. She is counting down to fall classes, when she can take jazz for the first time. Paige sat in the audience and watched for a total of 10 minutes (maybe). It's much more fun backstage with the big girls. You can eat peanut butter & jellies and run around bare-footed.

Get Down!
We had an unusually warm day on the 23rd...then it snowed the 24th, only in Texas!
Eryn was riding her bike outside. Paige kept walking into the bike path, bouncing and giving her "I want that" whine/grunt, so I went inside and got her little horse so that she would have something to ride too. She gets in trouble on a daily basis for turning around in her chair so that she can hold onto the back and stand up in it. Why would she want to sit on the horse? It's much more fun to stand!

Santa
Our "Elf on the Shelf" that reports to Santa was found in a kitchen cabinet.
Eryn has finally lost a top tooth and gotten her hair cut off! She has been asking for short hair for quite a while, and I finally got to take her now that we have a break from school.
Waiting in line to see Santa. Paige was definately not thrilled to sit in his lap!
